John Ferguson from Australia conducted two workshops on The Mystique of Blackware, a technique which produced organic yet mechanical looking pieces with a fine satiny sheen. The workshop was held at Sanskriti-Delhi Blue Ceramic Centre.

Founder's Day, the birth anniversary of Sardar Gurcharan Singh, was celebrated with series of talks, slideshows and film sceenings by visiting Estonian and Danish potters, Kylli Koiv, Kersti Laanmaa and Aigi Orav from Estonia along with Janice Hunter from Denmark, at Delhi Blue Pottery Trust, New Delhi. The annual students of Delhi Blue exhibition was held at the Experimental Arts Gallery at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

Tiles Forever, an exhibition of contemporary ceramics with the theme revolving around wall art, had 90 artists participating from India. The event was held at Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

December

Potters Bazaar was held at Sanskriti Kendra, Anandgram, it had the participation of 70 studio potters and traditional potters, from India.

Traditional terracotta potters Jamnalal Kumhar from Molela and Manbodh Rana from Orissa conducted hands-on workshops.
